Your Vote Matters in Wyoming

Important Deadlines

  • August 18th | Wyoming Primary Election Day
  • July 21st – August 17th | Absentee Ballots Accepted *
  • August 3rd | Voter Registration Closes

*Completed absentee ballots must arrive at the county clerk’s office by 7 p.m. on Election Night in order to be counted.

What to Bring

To Vote and/or Register to Vote

You’ll need proof of identity and residency. Common options include:

  • Wyoming driver’s license or state ID
  • U.S. passport
  • Military ID
  • Tribal ID
  • A utility bill, bank statement, or government document with your name and address

Absentee Voting

If you can’t make it to the polls on Election Day, you can still vote absentee in Wyoming. Absentee ballots may be requested through your county clerk’s office anytime during the election year, up until Election Day.

Voters can begin casting absentee ballots 28 days before the election, with absentee voting ending the day before Election Day.

Completed absentee ballots must arrive at the county clerk’s office by 7 p.m. on Election Night in order to be counted.
